Welcome to Mrs Mort’s Year 5. The children have made a wonderful start and I am sure this will continue throughout the year. In class we have children from Year 5 who are in Miss Spencer’s and Mrs Pugh’s classes in the afternoon. Maths and English are taught each morning.
Homework is to be found in the homework books every Friday. This is to be handed in by the following Wednesday. In the back of the homework book you can see your child’s spelling and times tables test.
The children have reading books and weekly spelling lists. We encourage children to read each night and practice spellings to support their learning in school. Details of most homework tasks can be found on our newsletters which our placed here every week. Please read them to stay up to date of any news and important dates.
