Extra Curricular
A wide variety of school run clubs are offered to extend and enrich children’s learning, skills and interests:- Spanish, science, gardening, computing, football, reading, homework, choir, art and craft and circuit training to name a few. Outside agencies are invited in to school to run clubs in judo and fencing. Music instrument tuition can also be arranged in school.
We are in partnership with the ‘Schools Sports Partnership and SHARES (Skelmersdale and UpHolland Association for Raising Education Standards) who both offer additional activities for children. These include football, futsal, netball, athletics, target games, tag rugby, handball, basketball, swimming and multi-skills games. School also participates in leagues for football, hi fives netball, basketball and handball. Our children are encouraged to participate in these activities to enhance general fitness and introduce them to concepts such as team building and social interaction with children from other schools.
